The first week of class, I dress a bit more conservatively, for contrast. Today, however, saw some light blue pants, a matching bowtie, and a septum ring, for balance.
Tomorrow is the last day of teaching isiZulu (we have presentations on Friday), and then we transition to spring. So the time for being subtle is not now.
Ha! I found another isiZulu shirt in my collection, and paired it with a floral flowy cardigan, a feather earring, and a spiked collar. As you do.
Don’t get too excited; I only own two isiZulu t-shirts. This one says “This shirt is in English when you’re not looking.” It was fun to pair with a styles by Ana tie and a bowler. This floral blazer was the ideal way to say goodbye to the semester and calendar year. A tie would’ve felt like too much. I slicked my hair to the side and felt it was fun too.
I rarely get to break out this vest but I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Along with nearly matching tie. This was an easy outfit to put together. ALSO POCKET WATCH.
