It was very, very warm, and I wanted to really feel that in my wardrobe. Also a great chance for white eyeshadow and red lipstick. Also I love this pineapple pendant more than I can say.
I tend not to dress up on my days off from teaching, mainly because I’m often awkwardly typing/crying working on my book manuscript in a coffeeshop. But I really needed a boost today, so I went for some Charlize Theron/Furiosa eye makeup and side buns.

Our campus has a yearly Gala for LGBT students, faculty and staff, and clearly this outfit seemed appropriate. I’ve been experimenting more with wilder makeups, and this gold look combined with the spiderweb necklace and tuxedo jacket was AMAZING.
